Breion Jones
We are so proud of the brilliant Ms. Breion Jones! Breion is a very caring young woman. In the past, she was not given many opportunities because she requires personal care assistance due to being wheelchair bound. However, Breion refused to allow her physical limitations to dissuade her from being able to ambulate and thrive.
She participated in our Opportunity Now Vocational Rehabilitation Program. Her job coach, Victoria, helped Breion improve her self-confidence and encouraged her to pursue her dreams. Victoria was able to help Breion find a job within three months of them being paired together. Breion was employed at Mercedes Benz Superdome as a ticket scanner. She has been able to see some of her favorite celebrities perform while earning money to live the lifestyle she desired.
That is only part of her story. Breion currently owns her own cosmetics line – Be Breezy Cosmetics. That is right, she went from unemployed to being an employee, and is now her own boss! Even though Breion successfully completed our program in December 2019, she keeps in contact with her job coach Ms. Victoria today.
